Two phrases, carried for years. 水ください — mizu kudasai, "water, please." ご飯ください — gohan kudasai, "rice, please." The first Japanese a3a3r0n ever reached for, back in the Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix days — and he's wanted them on a shirt ever since. Not a translation slapped on a tee: the language writes it this way, so the shirt does too, with the AP triangle seated over the top, the way the mark sits over everything in this house.

Water and rice — the basics, asked for politely, in somebody else's language. That's the whole mission in two lines: hearing the unheard voices starts with learning how to ask. He's learning to write these characters himself; this is his study, made wearable.
